Skye, August 2013

Posted: August 24th, 2013 | Tags: | Posted in: Photography

What a fantastic place Skye is, amazing coastal scenery and amazing mountain scenery. For a relatively small island,  which is attached to the mainland by a beautiful bridge, Skye has everything the photographer and walker could ever hope for – if you’re willing to tolerate some rain and some midges, well actually, quite a lot of both and sometimes all at once!

Whilst we had a great time over on Skye, we also had the pleasure and kind hospitality of our friend, Donald Morrison, who showed us one of his favourite places near Kyle of Lochalsh – absolutely stunning!

These are my favourite photos from our August trip over to Skye, taken with both the iPhone and 5D MKII. I also shot a roll of film, but will post those later.
