168-174/365 – and the rest

This week I’ve been concentrating mostly on macro photography. This time of the year when everything is in bloom is fantastic for some close up pictures of both wild flowers and insects such as bees and butterflies!

I have been using my Fujifilm X10 compact for the majority of the macro, the other macro shots were taken with the Canon Lens Extension Tube EF 12 II and either the Canon EF 70-200 mm f/4.0 L USM or my new Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM which was kindly gifted to me on my birthday by my brother and his partner.

I have also decided to start writing some tutorials about editing images with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, the first of which I wrote today: “Faded/Matte Effect in Lightroom.”

I hope you enjoy my photos.
