Japanese for Instant Messaging

A lot of people use instant messaging as a way to exchange languages. I do this as a way to learn Japanese.

Here are some Japanese words and phrases you may find useful during an IM conversation with a Japanese person…

Screen-name	Sukuriin neemu	スクリーンネーム
What’s your name?	Anata no onamae ha?	あなたのお名前は？
Where do you live?	Dochira ni osumai desu ka?	どちらにお住いですか？
I live in (place name), you?	(place name)ni sundeimasu. Anata ha?	(place name)に住んでいます。あなたは？
No problem	Mondainai	問題ない
hahaha/hehehe	hahaha/hehehe	ははは/へへへ
