Shooting stars

The following images are the product of an hour spent at the South Head on Wednesday night when Kirsty was at her Zumba session. In that single hour I managed to frighten some dog walkers, blind myself a few times with my own headlamp, but most significantly one of my exposures was destroyed by a passing aircraft – not a common problem in Wick!

I don’t do much in the way of night sky photography, but I have found stars make an equally dramatic background to one of my favourite buildings as any sunset or sunrise ever have.
